Nicola Bannerman

Nicola draws inspiration from shapes, textures and rhythms in the natural world. Recurring forms such as cocoons, waves, crystalline structures and spirals are commonly appropriated as symbols for human needs and emotions: self protection, persistence, connectedness and perpetuation.

‘All my jewellery ranges are inspired by shapes, textures and rhythms in the natural world, especially recurring forms such as spirals, waves, cocoons and crystalline structures. My pieces are consistently recognised for their pleasing fluidity, elegance and painstaking attention to detail.’
